RAJSHAHI, July 17, 2021 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), during an anti-crime drive, arrested three alleged drug peddlers with 40-kg ganja in the district last night.

The arrested persons were identified as Al Amin, 21, son of Monir Hossain, Rabbi Hassan, 20, son of Rajan Mian and Abdus Sabur, 41, son of late Azizur Rahman.

On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Puthiya Bazar area and arrested them after searching a private car at 10.30 pm, RAB sources said this morning.

The car was also seized.

A case was filed in this connection.

Later, the arrested persons along with the seized goods were handed over to the police.
