RAJSHAHI, April 23, 2022 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in
an anti-crime operation, arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 50 kilograms
of ganja from a place in Natore district early this morning.
 
The arrested were identified as Muhammad Zilani, 24, son of Abul Khayer of
Gakulnagar village and Anish Mian, 38, son of late Shah Alam of Bhangra
village under Muradnagar upazila in Cumilla district, RAB sources said here
this noon.
 
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Jamtali Bazar
area on the Natore-Bogura highway under Singra upazila around 5:10 am and
arrested them with the huge hemp after searching a truck, the sources added.

Besides, the RAB team also seized the vehicle.
 
Later, the arrested with the seized contraband goods and the truck was handed
over to the police today.
 
A case was filed with Singra Police Station in this connection.
