1.06-crore get Covid-19 1st dose vaccine in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Jan 26, 2022 (BSS) – The number of the first dose recipient citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 1,06,01,480 with the inoculation of 61,993 more with the first dose of the jab today in Rangpur division.  

“Among 61,993 new first dose recipients, 36,438 were innoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 11 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs and 25,544 Pfizer Covid-19 jabs today,” Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam told BSS at 8 pm.  

The first dose recipient 1,06,01,480 citizens include 36,49,769 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,86,539 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 16,33,323 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs.

Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine recipient citizens rose to 63,28,049 with inoculation of more 27,872 people with the second dose of the jabs today in the division.

Among the 27,872 second dose recipient citizens, 11,046 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 10,714 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 6,002 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 110 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs in the division today.   
The second dose recipient 63,28,049 citizens include 14,96,942 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 45,94,126 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,26,589 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 1,10,392 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs.

Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine reached 1,42,244 people with the inoculation of 4,064 more citizens with the booster dose of the jabs today in the division.

“The 1,42,244 booster dose recipients include 1,37,816 vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs and 4,428 Pfizer Covid-19 jabs,” Dr. Islam added.
