PANCHAGARH, Jan 16, 2022 (BSS)- Pitendranath, a heroic freedom fighter, died of old-age complications at his residence at Sonapata Sardarpara village under Debiganj upazila in the district in the morning.

   He was 70, family sources said.

  Pitendranath left behind his wife, three sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

  He was cremated at local crematory in the district with full state owner this afternoon.

  Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Debiganj Prottoy Hasan, officer-in-charge Md Jamal, freedom fighter Sodesh Chandra Ray and other freedom fighters were present.
