KHULNA, Oct 27, 2021(BSS) - Police have arrested and taken four suspected
persons into their custody for questioning today on charges of triple murder
in Koyra upazila of the district on Tuesday.

   The arrested are Ziaur Rahman Zia, 45, son of late Kowser Gazi, Sultana
Gazi, 25, wife of Quddus Gazi, Naeem Gazi, 22, son of Abdul Hamid Gazi and
Kibria Gazi, 30, son of Kapil Gazi of Bamia village under no-2 Bagali Union
of the upazila.

  On the day, criminals knifed to death Habibur Rahman, 35, son of late Mazed
Gazi, Habib's wife Beauty Khatun, 32 and their school-going daughter Habibun
Nahar Tuni, 12.

   Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered their bodies from
a pond near Mazed Gazi's residence at Bamia village in Bagali union.

   Kohinur Khanam, mother of Habibur, filed a murder case accusing some
unidentified criminals with Koyra Police Station in this connection.

  Talking to BSS, Investigation Officer of the case and Sub-Inspector of
Koyra Police Station Asadul Islam said hectic investigation is continuing by
the police to unearth the mystery behind this murder incident.

   Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Koyra Police Station Md Robiul Hossain said
police grilled four suspected criminals who have involved behind the killing
incident of a family's three members.

  Meanwhile, police recovered a decomposed body of an unidentified youth from
east Mothbari of Koyra upazila today morning.

  OC of Koyra Police Station said, they recovered a floating body in
decomposed condition from the Koyra river, adjacent to the Sundarban, this
morning after receiving an information from the fishermen who were going to
netting shrimp fries in the river.
