RANGPUR, Oct 27, 2021 (BSS) - The number of the first dose recipient
citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 46,45,501 with the inoculation of 36,919
more with the first dose of the jab today in Rangpur division.

   "Among 36,919 new first dose recipients, 14,783 were inoculated with
Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 21,302 with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab and 834 with
Pfizer Covid-19 jab today," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md Motaharul
Islam told BSS at 6:35 pm.

   The total first dose recipient 46,45,501 citizens include 13,92,171 people
vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 31,19,766 people with Sinopharm
Covid-19 jab, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine and 1,715 with Pfizer
Covid-19 vaccine.    

   Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine recipient
citizens rose to 21,42,695 with inoculation of more 18,551 people with the
second dose of the jab today in the division.

   Among the 18,551 new second dose recipient citizens, 2,980 people were
inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine and 15,571 with Sinopharm Covid-
19 vaccine in the division today.

   "The second dose recipient 21,42,695 citizens include 5,47,530 inoculated
with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 14,71,205 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab,
1,23,959 with Moderna Covid-19 jab and one with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine," Dr
Islam said.
