RANGPUR, Oct 21, 2021 (BSS) - The number of the first dose recipient
citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 45,30,371 with the inoculation of 48,014
more citizens with the first dose of the jab today in Rangpur division.

   "Among 48,014 new first dose recipients, 23,025 were inoculated with
Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 24,887 others with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab and 102
with Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 jab today," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md
Motaharul Islam told BSS.

   The total first dose recipient 45,30,371 citizens include 12,76,382 people
vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 21,22,038 people with Sinopharm
Covid-19 jab, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine and 102 with Pfizer-
BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.    

   Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine recipient
citizens rose to 21,57,753 with inoculation of more 40,966 people with the
second dose of the jab today in the division.

   Among the 40,966 new second dose recipient citizens, 134 were inoculated
with AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine and 40,832 others with Sinopharm Covid-19
vaccine today.

   "The total second dose recipient 21,57,753 citizens include 5,42,532
people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 14,90,947 people with
Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,23,959 others with Moderna Covid-19 jab in the
division," Dr Islam said.
