JHENAIDAH, Sept 22, 2021 (BSS) - The Department of Agriculture Extension
(DAE) today distributed agriculture incentives among 215 small and marginal
farmers under the agricultural incentive and rehabilitation program in Sadar
upazila here.

  As part of the programme, DAE distributed seed and fertilizer among the
small and marginal farmers of the upazila for cultivating mascolai.

  Deputy Commissioner Mojibur Rahman distributed the incentives as the
chief guest at a function held at the upazila parishad premises.

  Sadar Upazila Chairman Advocate Abdur Rashid, Upazila Nirbahi Officer
(UNO) SM Shahin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station Sheikh Md.
Sohel Rana, Vice-Chairman Rashidur Rahman Russell, Women Vice-Chairman Arti
Dutta, Agriculture Officer Zahidul Karim, Department of Agriculture Extension
officer Imdadul Hasan and local UP Chairman Parvez Masud, among others, were
present at the function.

 Each of the farmers got 5-kg of seed and 15-kg of fertilizer.
