RAJSHAHI, Sept 22, 2021 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB),
in two separate anti-crime drives, arrested two alleged drug peddlers with
14,000 yaba tablets and 40 kilograms of ganja here last night.

     According to the RAB sources, the arrested persons were identified as
Alam Ali, 47, son of late Mohsin Ali, and Sabuj Hossain, 29, son of Abdul
Majid.

     A team of the elite force, being informed, conducted a raid in Baroipara
area under Airport Police Station and arrested Alam with the huge yaba
tablets around 10.00 pm red-handed, RAB sources here said this morning.

     Another RAB team arrested Sabuj with 40 kilograms of ganja after
conducting a raid at Naodapara crossing under Shahmukhdum Police Station
around 7.45 pm.

     Two separate cases were recorded with the respective police stations and
the arrested persons along with the seized goods were handed over to police.
