JAMALPUR, Feb 2, 2023 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested an alleged drug peddler along with contraband heroin in Islampur upazila of the district on Wednesday evening.

The arrested was identified as Md Monir Hossain,25, son of Md Akbar Hossain at village Airmari in Islampur upazila under Jamalpur district.

According to RAB-14, acting on a tip off, a team of the elite force raided Pecharchararea in Islampur upazila and arrested him with 20 grams of heroin.

The arrested was handed over to Islampur police with a case.
