RANGPUR, Jan 30, 2023 (BSS) - Helping Hand Foundation (HHF), a social welfare organization, distributed blankets among 400 cold-hit helpless, poor and distressed people at different places in the city last night and today.

    Presided over by Chairman of HHF Jiban Nahar, 400 blankets were distributed among cold-stricken people, including 100 employees of different shops, in different functions arranged at Sumi Community Centre and other places in the city.

    Managing Director of HHF Joyeeta Haque Jimi, journalist and youth organizer Farhaduzzaman Faruk, President of Rangpur City Shop Employees' Association Md. Zaherul Islam, its General Secretary Mazharul Islam Mantu, among others, were present.

    Addressing the occasions, HHF Chairman Jiban Nahar called upon affluent people in the society to come forward and stand beside the cold-hit people of the northern region with helping hands to mitigate their sufferings.
