LONDON, Aug 8, 2022 (BSS/AFP) - European stock markets rebounded at the open 
Monday following pre-weekend falls as traders assess the pace of interest 
rate hikes aimed at cooling soaring inflation. 

London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.7 percent to 7,489.13 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX index jumped 1.0 percent to 13,703.09 points 
and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.7 percent to 6,518.72.
