DHAKA, Sept 28, 2021 (BSS) - State Minister for Information and
Broadcasting Dr Md Murad Hassan today urged the Bangladesh High
Commission in Ottawa to work to open new door to business between the
two countries and further strengthening trade relations.

  "By identify the potential sectors of Canada's trade with
Bangladesh, the High Commission can work towards opening the door to
business potential between the two countries and further strengthening
trade relations," he told a welcome reception at Bangladesh High
Commission, Ottawa today.

  The high commission arranged the reception program to welcome the
state minister today, said a press release received here.

  Murad said that Bangladesh has a conducive environment for foreign
investment as there are now 100 economic zones in the country where
the government is cooperating with setting up of any business and
industry.

  The progress of the country has to be portrayed before the world
along with building resistance against those who conspire against the
country, he added.

  High Commissioner Dr Khalilur Rahman and officials of High
Commission were present on the occasion.
