BNP has no unity: Quader

DHAKA, Oct 4, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said BNP cannot forge a national unity as the party itself lacks unity within the organization.

“BNP leaders blame each other as agent of the government. The party, which has no unity, cannot make a national unity,” he told a rally before distrusting leaflets as part of the weeklong mass-contact programme at Farmgate intersection here.

The mass contact campaign was taken to showcase the development activities of the incumbent government ahead of the next parliamentary election.

Quader, also road transport and bridges minister, said BNP has done fraudulence with the people over the invitation of United Nations secretary general.

He said the country, democracy and rule of law will not remain safe in the hands of BNP.

About the next parliamentary election, the AL general secretary said his party’s election symbol, ‘Boat’, will achieve victory in the next general election as the people have trust in Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government has completed huge works for empowering women and increasing their rights and dignity.

Quader urged the people including the womenfolk to cast their votes in favour of the Awami League to elect the party in the next Jatiya Sangsad election to continue the current development trend.
