Tajikistan beat Nepal 2-0 in Bangabandhu Int’l Gold Cup
SYLHET, Oct 2, 2018 (BSS)- Tournament favorite Tajikistan got off to a
winning start in the 5th edition of Bangabandhu International Gold Cup
beating Nepal by 2-0 goals in their group A opening match held at Sylhet
District Stadium in Sylhet on Tuesday.
In the day’s match, Fatxullo Fatxulloev opened an account for Tajikistan
in the 27th minute from a penalty while Komron Tursunov sealed the victory
scoring the second goal for Tajikistan in the 69th minute of the match.
Tajikistan will play their second and final group match against Palestine
on October 4 at the same venue.
