71 portraits of PM marking her birth anniversary
DHAKA, Sept 28, 2018 (BSS) – Eminent artists of the country here today painted 71 portraits of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina marking her 71st birth anniversary.
The art works titled “Hasumonir Bangladesh” was created by artist Shahabuddin Ahmed and children on a 71-feet canvas.
Hasumonir Pathshala, a library and research-oriented socio-cultural institution, organised the event marking the birth anniversary of prime minister and its founding anniversary at Shishu Academy.
Prime Minister’s International Affairs Adviser Dr Gowher Rizvi cut a cake on the occasion. Artist Shahabuddin inaugurated the day-long function.
Women and Children Affairs Secretary Nasima Begum, Bangladesh Chhatra League president Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon and general secretary Golam Rabbani attended the programme.
Symbolizing the 71st birth anniversary of Sheikh Hasina, 71 students of class IV to X from different city schools joined the event.
