CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 3, 2017 (BSS) – The development works of six roads were inaugurated at Kansat under Shibganj upazila in the district on Thursday afternoon.
Local law maker Md. Golam Rabbani inaugurated the works as the chief guest at a function in Kansat Bazar area with 2 no. ward unit Awami League President Matiur Rahman in the chair.
AL Kansat Union Parisad unit General Secretary Rabiul Islam, freedom fighter Ekramul Hoque and Shibganj upazila assistant engineer of LGED Ayatullah Behesti also spoke at the function.
Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) would construct the roads covering 1.75 kilometres under Rural Infrastructure Development Project at a cost of Tk. 1, 07, 00,000, LGED officials said.
