MANIKGANJ, Oct 29, 2017 (BSS)- Three persons were killed and forty others injured in two separate road accidents on Dhaka-Aricha Highway in the district today.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. The injured were admitted to Manikganj Sadar hospital.
Barangail Highway police said the first accident occurred at about 3.30 pm when a Dhaka-bound passenger bus of “Saudia Paribahan” felt into roadside cannal failing its control over the steering.
Abdus Samad, ASI of Barangail Police, said two of the victims died on the spot while the 3rd one died on the way to hospital.
The second accident occurred near at Joka under Ghior upazila on Dhaka -Aricha Highway.
