TAJUDDIN-BIRTH-ANNIVERSARY
Tajuddin Ahmad’s birthday to be observed on July 23
DHAKA, July 21, 2018 (BSS) – The 93rd birth anniversary of Tajuddin Ahmad, prime minister of the provisional revolutionary government of Bangladesh that led the Liberation War in 1971 on behalf of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will be observed on July 23.
Liberation War Museum organised a week-long programmes at 5pm at the museum auditorium on “Tajuddin Ahmad: Works and Life”. The programmes feature exhibitions, discussion, speeches of Tajuddin and cultural event.
Professor Syed Manzoorul Islam will deliver speech at the inaugural programme. Students of University of Liberal Arts, Bangladesh and Daffodil International University will perform the cultural event.
On November 3, 1975, Tajuddin Ahmad was brutally killed in jail with three other national leaders of the country.
