DHAKA, Oct 20, 2017 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid leaves here for London tomorrow on eight-day visit for health checkup and treatment of eyes.
“A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President will take off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10.30 am tomorrow,” President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS today.
Abdul Hamid is scheduled to have his checkup at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Bupa Cromwell Hospital.
He is expected to return home on October 29, the press secretary added.
Earlier, the 74-year old President Hamid underwent health checkup there on April last.
Abdul Hamid has been suffering from Glaucoma since long. He used to have his health checkups in London while he was the Speaker in the Jatiya Sangsad (parliament).
