GM Quader mourns death of noted singer Mita Huq
DHAKA, April 11, 2021 (BSS) – Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition Golam Mohammad Quader today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of noted Rabindra Sangeet singer Mita Huq.
In a condolence message, the deputy leader of the opposition said Mita Huq contributed a huge in practice and promotion of the Rabindra Sangeet. Her death created an irreparable loss in the arena of music and it would never be fulfilled, he added.
GM Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to her bereaved family.
Jatiya Party Secretary General Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu also expressed deep shock due to the death of Mita Huq.
Mita Huq, the eminent singer and Ekhushey Padak winner, passed away this morning while undergoing treatment at a specialized city hospital at the age of 59.
