2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccination begins in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH, April 9, 2021 (BSS) – The process of giving second dose Covid-19

vaccines began here from Thursday in Sadar hospital.

Railways Minister Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon inaugurated the second dose of Covid-19 vaccination activities as the chief guest after receiving the vaccine dose in sadar hospital.

Later, the MP from Panchagarh 1 constituency Mojaharul Hoque Prodhan also received the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine at the same venue.

In the second phases, we received a total of 24,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine which are kept at the hospital, said DR Fajlur Rahman, civil surgeon of Panchagarh,

“Only those who have registered and received an SMS will be able to receive the vaccine. According to the registration, 23,071people will be given the second dose vaccine firstly,” he added.

The vaccine activities will continue from 9 am to 2.30 pm every day.

Sadar hospital sources said 42,071 people have got the first dose of Covid-19

vaccine till now.
