DNCC to continue drives to ensure health guidelines among people

DHAKA, April 6, 2021 (BSS) – Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC)
will continue its mobile court drives in its areas to ensure health
guidelines among the city dwellers amid the ongoing coronavirus
pandemic.

The city corporation today conducted six mobile courts on different
parts of the city to create awareness among the people about COVID-19
and protect them from the virus infections, a DNCC press release said.

DNCC chief revenue officer and executive magistrate Abdul Hamid Miah
carried out a mobile court in the city’s Gulshan area, while executive
magistrate Saleha Binte Siraj conducted a drive in Darussalam area.

DNCC regional executive officer and executive magistrate Sajia
Arefin conduced a mobile court at Uttra 12 sector and fined people for
not following the government’s directives.

Besides, executive magistrates Parcia Sultana, Abed Ali and
Abdullah Al Mamun carried out drives on different parts of the city
corporation to make city dwellers aware of COVID-19 infections. They
also panelised people for not wearing masks and violating the
government’s directives.
