Bangladesh Games women’s football begins tomorrow
DHAKA, March 28, 2021 (BSS)- The women’s football event of Bangabandhu
ninth Bangladesh Games will begin tomorrow (Monday) at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed
Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur area with two
matches are billed for the opening day.
In the day’s first match, Rajshahi football team face Khulna football team
at 9.30 am and Mymensingh football team meet Ansar and VDP football team at
11.30 am
A total of eight teams– seven district teams along with Ansar and VDP–
split into two groups are taking part in the competition.
Women’s Football team (grouping):
Group A – Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Khulna and Ansar and VDP football teams
Group B – Magura, Faridpur, Brahmanbaria and Panchagarh football teams.
