Rain, thundershowers likely in Sylhet

DHAKA, March 05, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today predicted that rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at one or two
places over Sylhet division in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.

“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the
country, having chances of rain or thundershowers at one or two places over
Sylhet division in 24-hour till 9am tomorrow,” said a met office bulletin
issued this morning.

Light fog may occur at some places over the southern part of the country
from late night to tomorrow morning, the bulletin added.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise
slightly over the country.

The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 33.4 degrees Celsius in
Patuakhali of Barishal division, while today’s minimum temperature was 15.0
degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and Ishurdi of Rajshahi division and Tetulia and
Rajarhat of Rangpur division.

The sun sets at 6.03 pm today and rises at 6.17 am tomorrow in the
capital.
