Rupali Bank still maintain solo lead
DHAKA, Mar 3, 2021 (BSS) – Rupali Bank Krira Parishad maintained their solo lead in the points table with maximum 14 points after the 7th round matches of “Mujib Barsho” 1st Division Chess League now being held at Chess Federation hall-room.
Manha’s Castle are following the leaders closely with 13 points while Sultana Kamal Smirity Pathagar stand at 3rd position with 10 points.
Dhaka Chess Club, Mir Chess Club and Agrani Bank Daba Dal are sharing the 4th positions with 7 match points.
In the day’s 7th round matches were held today with Rupali Bank Krira Parishad beat Agrani Bank Daba Dal by 4-0 game points, Manha’s Castle beat Esoft Arena Chess Club by 3-1 game points, Sultana Kamal Smirity Pathagar beat Dhaka Knight’s Chess Club by 3.5-0.5 game points, Mir Chess Club lost to Morning Glory Chess Club, Kushtia by 1.5-2.5 game points, Dhaka Chess Club beat Basir Memorial Chess Club by 3.5-0.5 game points and Khelghar Daba Sangah of Gopalganj defeated Kasparov Chess Club by 3.5-0.5 points.
The 8th round matches start tomorrow (Thursday) from 3 pm at the same venue.
