DHAKA, Jan 19, 2021 (BSS) – Considering the context of global pandemic Covid-19, the deadline for submission of application for ‘Bangladesh Press Council Award-2021’ has been extended till January 31, 2021.
Earlier, the last date for application for ‘Bangladesh Press Council Award-2021’ was January 5, 2021.
In recognition of the role of newspapers, journalists and photojournalists in making investigative and creative report Bangladesh Press Council will give this award, said a press release.
Applications have been invited for four categories. These are- rural journalism, development journalism, women journalism and photography / video.
To be nominated for the award, the report or feature must be published or broadcast between January 1 and December 31, 2020, it added.
The applicant must be a journalist or photojournalist working in any newspaper or electronic media and an applicant cannot submit multiple reports or features or photographs on the same subject.
