Main culprit of a snatching group arrested
DHAKA, Dec 22, 2020 (BSS) – The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka
Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested the main culprit of a snatching
ring from Bashundhara River View area under South Keraniganj Thana of
Dhaka division on Monday last.
The arrested was Tajul Islam alias Taju, 30, who used to conduct
snatching as a driver through his CNG.
The Wari Zonal team of DB arrested Taju as a case related to theft
was filed by the victim, journalist Nazrul Islam, 52, against the
arrestee on October 4 last with Wari thana, a DMP press release said
today.
The concerned law enforcers started shadow investigation to this
end following filing the case and nabbed the culprit later.
