Nat’l committee formed to monitor land service digitalisation

DHAKA, Dec 20, 2020 (BSS) – A national committee on monitoring and reviewing land service digitalisation has been formed to plan and coordinate digital land management activities across the country.

Other major activities of this committee are to determine the strategy of land service digitalization implementation, to provide policy and support for the implementation of digital services, to increase the dynamism of digitalisation activities and to improve the quality and publicity of digital services.

The committee will also work to ensure proper land service by ensuring transparency and accountability of work at the field level through regular monitoring and increasing its performance by identifying weaknesses.

Led by Land Minister, the other members of the committee are Land Secretary, Chairman of Land Appeal Board, Chairman of Land Reform Board, Director General of Land Records and Survey Department, Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka, Project Director of A2I, Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka and Khulna.
