DHAKA, Nov 30, 2020 (BSS) – The High Court (HC) today issued rule asking as to why it shall not scrap the lower court order granting bail to JMI Hospital Requisite Manufacturing Ltd chairman Abdur Razzak in a case lodged over supplying fake N-95 masks.

A High Court division virtual bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Ahmed Sohel passed the order after holding hearing on a revision plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

“The court has issued a rule and would hold hearing on it on December 13,” said Deputy Attorney General AKM Amin Uddin Manik.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge court on October 15 granted bail to Razzak.

ACC deputy director Md Nurul Huda filed the case on September 29 against six officials of Central Medical Store Depot (CMSD) and JMI Hospital Requisite Manufacturing Ltd chairman Abdur Razzak.
