Quader mourns death of ICT chief investigator Abdul Hannan Khan

DHAKA, Nov 29, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary and Road
Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed deep shock at
the death of freedom fighter and the chief investigator of International
Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Abdul Hannan Khan.

In a condolence message, Obaidul Quader said Abdul Hannan Khan had played
an important role in holding the trial of war criminals. He discharged his
duty as the chief investigation officer in Bangabandhu and jail killing cases
with outmost dedication and patriotism, the AL general secretary added.

He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep
sympathy to members of the bereaved family.

Chief Investigator of International Crimes Tribunal Abdul Hannan Khan
passed away today at the age of 78 at Dhaka Combined Military Hospital at
12:45pm.
