Construction works of Sheikh Kamal IT business incubator inaugurated in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 28, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak opened the construction work of Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator Centre at Chandgaon area in the city today.

The long-awaited six-storied incubator centre will be built on 1.71 acres of land at city’s FIDC road of Chandgaon area with an estimated cost of Taka 46.76 crore.

The IT business incubator is scheduled to be completed by December, 2021, project director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal told BSS.

The project is being implemented under the supervision of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, Kamal added.

Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator center is being set up in the port city to create successful entrepreneurs in the country’s IT sector, increase its capacity to build digital Bangladesh and earn foreign currency.

Moslem Uddin Ahmed MP presided over the inaugural function while Deputy Minister for Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel, Administrator of Chattogram City Corporation Khorshed Alam Sujan and Project Director Mostafa Kamal, among others, were present.
