Free eye camp held in Debiganj
PANCHAGARH, Nov 19, 2020 (BSS) – A free eye camp was held on the premises of Debiganj government Girls High school in the district here today.
Debiganj upazila administration and Dinajpur Gaosul Azam eye hospital have jointly arranged the eye camp.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) general Azad Jahan inaugurated the eye camp as the chief guest.
Upazila chairman of Debiganj Abdul Malek Chistee presided over the function while upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) of Debiganj Prottoy Hasan was present as special guest.
Some 62 poor patients underwent cataract operations in the camp.
A team of eight doctors led by Dr. Najia Tarannus conducted the camp. At least 300 poor patients were given free treatment during the camp.
