SANGSAD BHABAN, Nov 17, 2020 (BSS) – A total of eight parliamentary standing committees were reconstituted in the Jatiya Sangsad here today.
The reconstituted parliamentary standing committees are the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry, Labour and Employment Ministry, committee on Estimates, Committee on Public Undertakings, Committee on Private Member’s Bills and Resolutions and Committee on Government Assurances.
Chief Whip Nur-E Alam Chowdhury moved the proposals for constituting the committees. Later, the proposals have been adopted by voice vote with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
