AL holds protest rally against BNP’s arson attacks, vandalism

DHAKA, Nov 12, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka City South unit of Awami League (AL) today held a rally and brought out procession protesting against vandalism and anarchic activities carried out by BNP-Jamaat men at six places in the city.

Leaders and workers of Dhaka City South unit of AL staged demonstration at Bangabandhu Avenue and brought out a procession in the surrounding areas this afternoon.

The procession began from Bangabandhu Avenue and returned to the spot after marching through adjoining streets of Bangabandhu National Stadium, south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque and Zero Point.

Dhaka City South AL President Abu Ahmed Mannafi chaired the protest rally while its General Secretary Md Humayun Kabir, the unit leaders Hedayetul Islam Swapan, Golam Ashraf Talukder, Kazi Morshed Kamal, Md Akhter Hossain, Md Miraj Hossain, Sarfuddin Ahmed Sentu and Golam Sarwar Kabir, among others, addressed it.

Besides, Dhaka City South unit of Awami Jubo League also held rally and brought out procession protesting against torching buses and carrying out vandalism by BNP-Jammat at six places in the city.
