Two drug peddlers held with 100kg hemp
DHAKA, Oct 27, 2020 (BSS) – Detective branch of police have arrested two persons in possession of 100 kilograms of hemp from Uttara here.
The arrestees are Sumon alias Khokon, 36, and Sheuly Begum, 40.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of DMP detective branch of Wari intercepted a truck on Dhaka-Mymensingh Road in sector-6, Uttara last night and arrested the duo with 100 kilograms of hemp.
A case was filed with Uttara east police station in this connection.
