Khalid pays homage to Rouf Chowdhury
DHAKA, Oct 21, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury today paid homage to his father Abdur Rouf Chowdhury, an organiser of the War of Liberation, on his 13th death anniversary.
Khalid paid the homage placing a wreath at the grave of late Rouf Chowdhury at his residence at Dhontola Chowdhurypara under Bochaganj upazila in Dinajpur district.
He also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul, said a press release.
Mother of the minister Ramiza Chowdhury, among others, was present.
On October 21, 2007, former state minister for post and telecommunication Abdur Rouf Chowdhury died.
