ARREST-HEROIN
One held with 1.225 kg heroin in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Oct 15, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-5) arrested an alleged drug peddler with one kg 225 grams of heroin from Haripur area in Chapainawabganj municipality this afternoon.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Tomal Ali, 22, a resident of Amtoli Hatatpara under Godagari upazila in Rajshahi district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in the area at around 4.30 pm and arrested Tomal with the heroin, a RAB official said.
