Hubert Gomes passes away
DHAKA, Oct 5, 2020 (BSS) – One of the Presidents of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council Hubert Gomes passed away at a city hospital today at the age of 86.
He left behind his son, daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
In his life, Gomez served as an advisor to the Bangladesh Christian Association and president of the Christian Co-operative Credit Union Limited.
His body will be laid to rest at the Holy Rosary Church in Dhaka’s Tejgaon tomorrow at 3pm.
One of the presidents of the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Parishad Former MP Ushatan Talukder and General Secretary of the Parishad Advocate Rana Das Gupta expressed deep shock at his death.
