PM leading nation towards prosperity: Tajul
DHAKA, Sept 28, 2020 (BSS) – LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Md Tajul Islam today said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is leading the country towards prosperity overcoming all conspiracies and obstacles.
“With her versatile leadership quality, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has brightened the country’s image in the international level,” he said while addressing a discussion as the chief guest.
On the occasion of the 74th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Dhaka North City Corporation organised the discussion at Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park with its Mayor Md Atiqul Islam in the chair. State Minister for Public Administration Md Forhad Hossain was present as the special guest at the programme, said a press release.
The minister said Bangladesh has made an unprecedented development and progress under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
After the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15, 1975, the fate of the entire nation was thrown into darkness, he said, adding Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina dedicated herself to change the common people’s fortune.
“Bangladesh would have become a developed by 2000, if Bangabandhu would remain alive. When the coronavirus is paralyzing peoples’ life globally, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is inspiring the people to cope with the pandemic,” Tajul added.
He said the Prime Minister announced special stimulus packages for all sectors and provided food items to the poor people across the country.
