Bangabandhu, Vidyasagar had same philosophy: Khalid

DHAKA, Sept 26, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Cultural Affairs K M
Khalid today said that there were some great similarities between
Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the
Father of the Nation.

“Both of them were courageous, determined and confident. Sheikh

On the other hand, Ishwar Chandra is known as ‘Karunasagar’ and the
title ‘ Vidyasagar’ given by Sanskrit College. Their philosophy was
for truth, and freedom,” he said.

marking the 200th birth anniversary of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar at
the Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum in
the capital.
