Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote pays tribute to Bangabandhu
DHAKA, Sept 26, 2020 (BSS) – The leaders and workers of
Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote (BSJ) paid rich tributes to Father of the
Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman marking the organization’s
44th founding anniversary today.
As part of the programme, they placed wreaths at his portrait in
front of Bangabandhu Memorial at Dhanmondi-32 in the capital, followed
by a rally which paraded different city streets.
BSJ members also paid tributes to BUJ Founding President Alamgir
Kumkum in Banani.
BJSJ General Secretary Orun Sarker Rana said the organization was
launched at a time when the name of Father of the Nation was being
banned. But with the passage of time, the organization is now working
to realize the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman, he added.
They also offered special prayers seeking eternal peace of the
departed souls of the late members of the organization at its central
office in the city’s Gulshan area.
BSJ President Sarah Begum Kobori, General Secretary Orun Sarker
Rana, Actresses Aruna Biswas, Rokeya Prachy, Nuton and Tanvin Sweety
were present, among others, on the occasion.
