New Bangladesh envoy to Germany calls on President

DHAKA, Sept 23, 2020 (BSS) – The newly appointed Ambassador of
Bangladesh to Germany Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan today paid a
courtesy call on President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban here.

The President mentioned that Bangladesh always maintains a very
good relation with Germany and it (Germany) is one of the major export
destinations of Bangladeshi goods, President’s press secretary Joynal
Abedin told BSS after the meet.

He said Bangladesh has enormous opportunities to increase trade and
investment with Germany.

The head of the state asked the ambassador to make sincere efforts
to strengthen the existing ties between the two countries in the days
to come.

Bangladesh ambassador to Germany sought President’s cooperation in
discharging the duties and responsibilities during his assignment
there.

President’s secretary Sampad Barua, military secretary Major General
SM Shamim-Uz-Zaman, press secretary Md Joynal Abedin and secretary
(attached) Md Wahidul Islam Khan were also present.
