ARREST-RECOVERY-SHIBGANJ
One held with 1,200 yaba tablets in Shibganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept, 23, 2020 (BSS) – Members of the elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 1,200 pieces of yaba tablet from Ekbarpur Pakatola village under Shibganj upazila here this afternoon.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Aminul Islam, 23, of Guptamanik village under Dhainagar union of Shibganj upazila of the district.
RAB said acting on a tip off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided Ekbarpur Pakatola village under Binodpur union of Shibganj upazila at around 4 pm and arrested Aminul with the yaba tablets.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj police station.
A case was recorded in this connection.
