KUET, Sept 22, 2020 (BSS) – The authorities of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) on Tuesday donated Taka 10 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare fund to help the government for combating the deadly coronavirus in the country.
On behalf of KUET Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Kazi Sazzad Hossain, Registrar GM Shaheedul Alam handed over the donation cheque for Taka 10 lakh to Khulna Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Helal Hossain at his office room around 11am in this regard, said a KUET press release, issued by its public relation officer Monoz Kumar Mozumder, here today.
Teachers, officers and employees of the university donated their salary of one day to the PM’s Relief and Welfare Fund to help for fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, the release added.
