BSTI files case against two bakery shops in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Sept 15, 2020 (BSS)- The Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) lodged cases against two bakeries for unauthorised sale of food items.
The drive was led by BSTI officials Ashikuzzaman and Shimu Biswas.
The two bakeries are – Light Bakery in Shantinagar area and Bangladesh Sweets and Confectionery Bakery at DC Road of Dewan Bazar area in the port city.
Ashiquzzaman said that the shops had been making bread, biscuits, cakes and bakery products without approval of BSTI.
“After the drive was carried out. The factories of both the shops were sealed,” he added.
