Ireland beat Bangladesh by six wickets in 3rd T20i

DHAKA, July 1, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh eve’s dream run were cut short as Ireland beat them by six wickets in the very last ball in the third and final T20 of the three-match series at Dublin on Sunday.

Earlier, Bangladesh asked to bat first, scored a competitive total of 151 for 4 from their allotted 20 overs thanks to Fargana Hoque 66 off 47 balls.

But Ireland meant business when they came out to bat, as they kept scoring at brisk pace.

Gaby Lewis with superb half century off 51 balls and skipper Delany with an aggressive 46 off 38 balls saw the match go down to wire with Ireland needing 11 runs from the over the last over match.

Reliable bats-woman Isabel Joyce with a quickish 22 not out off 14 balls broke the Bangladesh eves heart of registering a clean sweep as she scored the winning singles at the very last ball of the match.
