JU new PRO Director takes charge
SAVAR, July 1, 2018 (BSS) – Newly-appointed Director of Public Relations
Office of Jahangirnagar University Abdus Salam Miah has taken charge today.
Officials and staffs of different offices of the university exchanged
greetings with the newly appointed PRO Director at the senate hall of the
university.
Earlier, JU Vice Chancellor Professor Farzana Islam temporarily appointed
Abdus Salam, as former PRO Director Mir Abul Kashem went to retirement.
Newly appointed PRO Director Abdus Salam Miah widely known as Salam Saqline
joined as Senior Reporter in JU Public Relations Office in July 15, 1986. He
was student of Bangla department and completed his graduation and post
graduation in 1981 and 1983 respectively from Jahangirnagar university.
He is a noted theater personality and founding executive member of
Bangladesh Gram Theater. Many of his dramas have been staged at home and
abroad.
