AL’s webinar on energy security tomorrow
DHAKA, Aug 27, 2020 (BSS) – The ruling Awami League (AL) will hold a webinar titled “Bangabandhu, Energy Security and Present Bangladesh” at 11 am tomorrow.
AL Science and Technology Affairs Subcommittee will organize the webinar while AL Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif will address it as the chief guest, said a press release here today.
Chief Advisor of International Council for Engineers, Australia, will present a keynote paper in the virtual discussion with AL Science and Technology Affairs Secretary and Member Secretary of the subcommittee Engineer Md Abdus Sabur in the chair.
AL Information and Research Secretary Dr Selim Mahmood, former chairman of Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) Engineer Khaled Mahmud Anjan, Barapukuria Coal Mining Company Limited (BCMCL) Managing Director Engineer Md Kamruzzaman Khan, Bangladesh Gas Fields Company Limited (BGFCL) Managing Director Md Taufiqur Rahman Tapu, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited (TGTDCL), Dhaka, General Manager (planning and development) Engineer Md Abdul Wahab will join the webinar as discussants.
