DHAKA, Aug 25, 2020 (BSS) – Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul
Quader today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of one of the
sector commanders during the Liberation War Maj Gen (Rtd) Chitta Ranjan Dutta
popularly known as CR Dutta, Bir Uttam.
In a condolence message, the Awami League General Secretary prayed for
eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved
family members, said a press release here.
The veteran freedom fighter breathed his last at 9:30am today
(Bangladesh time) at a hospital in Florida in USA at the age of 93.
